iHeartRadio Rallies Stars Around Summer Meals

Ryan Seacrest. Steve Harvey. Bobby Bones. iHeartRadio inspired its biggest voices to help kids during the hungriest time of the year.

For millions of kids in need who depend on free school meals, summer is all about what's missing: food. In fact, after school cafeterias shut their doors, 6 out 7 hungry kids don't get the food they need during summer break.

Our friends at iHeartRadio simply couldn't let that stand.

Through our free texting service, families nationwide can find meals sites in their communities where kids eat free all summer long. More than a million families have used the service, but we need to reach millions more.

That's where iHeartRadio stepped in.

To help spread the word, the radio giant deployed their top talent to record public service announcements promoting the service and educating listeners on the issue of summer hunger.

Celebrity hosts Steve Harvey, Ryan Seacrest and Bobby Bones graciously lent their voices and star power to help feed kids in need. And iHeartRadio is donating their airwaves to run the radio ads nationwide all summer – for the second year in a row.

Thanks to iHeartRadio's generous support, we're one step closer to a summer in which no kid goes hungry.

Take a listen to the radio spots below, and get the word out in your community about free summer meals with our Share Summer social media posts, flyers and more.
