Beware of Scams Impersonating the No Kid Hungry campaign of Share Our Strength

We've recently been made aware of scams from individuals or groups using our name and likeness to solicit donations through methods such as Zelle or gift cards. These messages are not from No Kid Hungry.

Your generosity powers our mission to end childhood hunger—and we want to help you stay safe and confident when supporting our work.

Here’s what to know:

  • No Kid Hungry will never ask for donations via Zelle, Venmo, gift cards, or personal email accounts
  • Official emails from us come from addresses ending in @strength.org
  • Donations made online at nokidhungry.org are processed through a secure network which both protects your information online and offers the convenience of using a wide variety of payment methods including credit cards and Venmo.

If you receive a suspicious message:

  • Do not send money or personal information.
  • Do not click on any links or respond to the message.
  • Report it to us at info@strength.org and, if applicable, to the platform where you saw it.

Your support makes a difference every day. By staying alert to scams, you help protect not only yourself but also our community of supporters.
