A happy summer is what every kid deserves. But for many families, summer is also the hungriest time of year. When school is out, millions of children lose access to the free and reduced-price meals they count on, putting extra strain on parents already working hard to make ends meet.

At the Jeremiah Program Summit with No Kid Hungry, we address the reality that ending childhood hunger requires addressing the systemic challenges that families face. That is why over the past years, we have expanded our efforts to programs that focus on supporting single moms so they can help their kids.
