Chef Lorena Garcia has joined No Kid Hungry as a summer meals campaign ambassador. She’s using her voice to increase awareness about summer hunger and free summer meals available for kids across the country with a special focus on reaching Spanish-speaking families.

Venezuelan-born Lorena Garcia is currently one of the country’s leading chefs. She is well known for her numerous accomplishments as a published author, TV series host for Emmy-nominated show El mejor de los peores for Fox Life, the co-creator, executive producer and host for Nickelodeon’s Food Hunters- Latina America and competitor on Bravo's Top Chef Masters, season 4. She has a successful chain of restaurants, “Chica”, in Las Vegas, NV, Miami, FL, and Aspen, CO. Garcia developed “Big Chef, Little Chef” as a comprehensive non-profit program to help children and their families take control of their eating habits and, ultimately, their lives.
