No Kid Hungry today announced a partnership to equip Florida’s school administrators with the tools to end childhood hunger.

The partnership will connect FASA’s vast network of principals, superintendents, and other school administrators with resources to fight hunger in their schools, including professional development opportunities, peer-to-peer learning and national best practices from No Kid Hungry’s decades of experience working with school nutrition programs.

“School administrators are crucial to our success in achieving No Kid Hungry in Florida and across the country. Our partnership with FASA will help us reach and engage more superintendents, principals, and other school administrators,” says Adrienne Allen, Managing Director, No Kid Hungry Campaigns. “We hope to fight childhood hunger by building the capacity of more school administrators to increase access to school breakfast in their schools and districts.”

“This partnership demonstrates our commitment to the professional development needs of our administrators and the success and wellness of Florida kids,” said Juhan Mixon, Executive Director of FASA. “We’re excited about this opportunity to partner with No Kid Hungry to tackle hunger in our schools.”
