SPEAK UP and advocate for kids and teens

Start a Letter Writing Campaign: Send a letter to your local legislator or school administrator, asking them to make hunger a priority in your district.

Schedule a Meeting with Your Local Elected Officials: With food insecurity rates being higher than any point in the last decade, there is no better time to reach out to your local elected officials to let them know how important it is to address hunger in your community. Use our step-by-step guide to reach out to your elected officials.

STAND UP to help end childhood hunger

Participate and encourage others to eat school meals! By participating in these programs, you’re encouraging students to eat together and you can help make the programs better.

Even in a pandemic, you can ask your school how they’re providing meals to students and make sure your classmates and families know where they can get free meals!

Are you a college student? You can become a No Kid Hungry youth ambassador and work with a local nonprofit organization to work towards ending childhood hunger.

Anyone ages 13-25 can sign up to learn more about being a No Kid Hungry youth advocate!

You can host a Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry
