West Alabama Food Bank

West Alabama Food Bank

West Alabama Food Bank (WAFB) was incorporated in 1987 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help alleviate hunger and food insecurity in nine West Alabama counties. Serving a population of more than 315,000 residents (over 15 percent of whom are living in poverty), WAFB actively collects donations, which we safely store and distribute to partner agencies. Through these agencies, WAFB has distributed more than seventeen million pounds of food.
