When the school doors close for the year, kids lose access to the critical meal programs they depend on like school breakfast and lunch. Free summer meals are there for kids, but the biggest obstacle is awareness.

That is why iHeartRadio teamed up with No Kid Hungry in 2018 and 2019 on a summer meals PSA campaign to help spread the word about No Kid Hungry’s texting service, which helps families locate nearby summer meals sites in their neighborhood. By having PSAs voiced by top talent including Ryan Seacrest, Bobby Bones and Steve Harvey in English and Spanish running on all iHeartRadio channels, they are helping to connect more kids to the food they need during the hungriest time of year.
