Today I Won't Share Pics of My Food

If you were at the SXSW conference in Austin this weekend, you may have seen people handing out these napkins at food trucks. And if you weren't there, but following the action on social media, you almost certainly saw images of them - instead of the typical pictures of people's meals.

The napkins were a brilliant idea from our friends at Great Nations Eat, a way to remind people that 49 million Americans - including 16 million children - can't count on reliable access to food.

“We are going to this event with a lot of people who are huge influencers on social media, and we can try and get them on board,” said Gerard Caputo from creative agency BBH New York, quoted in this story from the Wall Street Journal

We're excited to see more creative campaigns like this from Great Nations Eat. The first step in solving hunger - for children and families - is making sure everyone knows it exists.
