Your voice matters to children. Be an advocate for kids facing hunger.

Policymakers across the country make decisions that impact federal nutrition programs like SNAP (formerly food stamps), school breakfast, and more. Speak up and tell your policy makers to protect federal nutrition programs and join our fight to end childhood hunger in the United States.

Share your story

If you are one of the millions of Americans who has used SNAP (food stamp) benefits to help feed you and your family, please share your story. Stories shared by No Kid Hungry supporters who benefited from SNAP not only help others understand the realities of facing hunger, they also can be shared with policy makers who decide on key issues facing the program.

Help connect kids to healthy breakfasts at school

Only about one-third of students who eat a free or reduced-price school lunch also take advantage of school breakfast. But across the country, schools are coming up with innovative ways to ensure that children in need have a healthy start to their school day. Advocate for alternative breakfast programs at your school.
