Since the initial launch of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign – a national effort to end childhood hunger in America – NBA Cares has been a key partner in leveraging its reach to raise awareness and resources for this important work. As part of these efforts, No Kid Hungry was featured at the 2012 NBA All-Star events, including a community service event focused on nutrition education with several NBA All-Star players and Legends and a booth at the Jam Session where 1,400 fans pledged to join the fight to end childhood hunger. Additionally, NBA and WNBA players and Legends have helped raise awareness for the No Kid Hungry campaign by attending various events across the country.
We are excited to partner with NBA Cares in the critical work of ending childhood hunger in America. Through the No Kid Hungry campaign, the entire network of NBA and WNBA teams, players, and fans can join the movement and help make No Kid Hungry a reality in America.
