LA Clippers Guard Chris Paul Chooses No Kid Hungry For Western Conference's Beneficiary Charity in NBA All-Star Game

School Meals, SNAP & WIC

On Saturday, February 16th, the Western Conference will take on the Eastern Conference for an exciting night of competition and charity during NBA All-Star Weekend. NBA Cares and State Farm have made a donation of $500,000 as part of the event to go to non-profits chosen by the two team captains, Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade. As captain of the Western Conference team, LA Clippers star Chris Paul chose Boys & Girls Club of America and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign as his beneficiaries: $350,000 will go to the winning conference’s charities and $150,000 to the runner-up conference’s charities.

“State Farm All-Star Saturday Night is a night for the fans and the events provide some of the most memorable moments in NBA history,” said Paul. “Not only are we playing for bragging rights, but we are also raising money for charity, so it is definitely going to be a great night."
